Claudia and Roberto are a visionary couple who share an immense passion for recovering the knowledge of our ancient Andean culture. They have created Canastas Solidarias as an initiative striving for food sovereignty and autonomy. Their idea is to recover the food practices of our ancestors.

They truly practice the principles and values that they teach and enjoy generously sharing their expertise in permaculture and traditional ways of preserving and combining food. They are also working on recovering lost knowledge on wild edible plants of the Andes as well as protecting the biodiversity of edible plants.
