Are you planning a trip to Peru with your kids?
A trip to Peru does require good planning. A trip with many destinations may not be the best option for many families. You will want to seek out good guides who have experience with children. You might also want to focus on educational experiences so that the kids keep learning during the trip, over just sight-seeing. This way the children will stay engaged and don’t get bored, as not all children are enthused by walking around countless Inka Ruins.
Cusco & the Sacred Valley
Cusco is a wonderful destination for families as there are a huge variety of possible experiences all just a stone’s throw from the picturesque and historical city. The beautiful Sacred Valley is a narrow deep valley that stretches 60km from Pisac to Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo at the western end of the Sacred Valley is the gateway to Machu Picchu since the trains to Machu Picchu depart from here.
