ELIANA PAUCA
I want to contribute to spreading the immense wisdom and spirituality that keeps indigenous people connected to nature![]()
Eliana wakes up every day inspired by the idea of creating travel itineraries that convey personal growth and learning. She is committed to continuing being of service to her community and creating jobs that alleviate poverty. She is passionate about sharing her culture and protecting nature.
Eliana´s dream is to help give a voice to all men and women from indigenous communities who courageously and silently fight to keep their ancestral traditions alive. She wants to contribute to spreading the immense wisdom and spirituality that keeps indigenous people connected to nature and help the world to be a better place for all.
Eliana was six years old when she perceived the magic of the imperial city of Cusco. It was a visit to her loving godparents (and her first trip alone) that woke up her explorer soul. Since then, she has taken every opportunity to jump on a trip to discover different regions of her country and other fascinating places around the world. Becoming a mother has not stopped her from experiencing new destinations. She shares with her husband and children huge enthusiasm for educational development tours.
Today Eliana has over thirty years of experience in various levels of the tourism industry: Tour guide in four languages, Manager of a travel agency and Coordinator of ecotourism projects in rural communities. She graduated in May 2002 with a Master’s degree in International Development Policy in Sanford Institute, Duke University. This master’s degree broadened her business perspective and encouraged her to focus more on educational development tours.
